Roger Lin 林煒翔 is a Taiwan-born, New York city based guitarist/composer/bandleader. He has released two records as a bandleader, Whisper of the Isolated Ones (2020), and Exploitation Suite (2023). Exploitation Suite was given a 4-star review by Neil Duggan at All About Jazz (US) in 2023, and was embraced and recommended by international jazz reviewers, including Paris Move (FR), Jazzmania (FR), Jazzlife (Japan), and broadcasted at JazzFM (U.K) and Jazz in Family (Italy).

Roger’s band leading credits were praised in his homeland Taiwan, nominated for Best Jazz Album, Best Jazz Single at the 12th and 15th Golden Indie Music Awards (金音獎) and Best Album of Instrumental Recordings at the 35th Golden Melody Awards(金曲獎); through the making of these two records, Roger worked closely with well acclaimed jazz musicians in the U.S. including Phil Grenadier, Simon Willson, Moshe Elmakias, Grammy-winning engineer Michael Cisneros, and many others. As a sideman, Roger has continued to contribute to the New York scene. He plays with a large pool of musicians from all over the world in different configurations and places, including saxophonist Chaz Martineau, pianists Sharik Hasan, Shinya Lin, bassists Charlie Lincoln, Isaac Levien, drummers Quinton Cain, Willis Edmundson, Rintaro Mikami, and vibraphonist Yuhan Su etc…just to name a few.

Guitar | Andy Ferris

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, guitarist Andy Ferris has been playing and performing for over 30 years. He has shared the stage with jazz artists Kenny Werner and Kurt Elling, and studied jazz performance and composition with Canadian jazz artists Brad Turner and Bill Coon. More recently he studied an MA in Jazz Performance at the University of North Texas. He is currently active as a performer leading and playing in several projects in the Taipei area, appearing most recently in headline slots in both the Taipei and Taichung International Jazz Festivals.

來自加拿大溫哥華，擁有 25 年的演奏經歷，曾與多位知名爵士指標性人物演出，包含 Kenny Werner, Dee Daniels, Kurt Elling 。於北德大取得音樂碩士期間，師事加拿大指標性爵士音樂家 Brad Turner 和 Bill Coon 持續的精進其爵士即興演出及作曲，目前Andy 活躍的出現於國際爵士音樂現場。
